Christian Crafts for Christmas Gifts

Cross in your pocket Christian crafts

Christian crafts are good anytime, but are really nice to make during the Christmas holidays. Christian crafts can be used for inspiration, for gift giving, or for church groups’ fundraisers.

Krafty Kris’s Christian crafts for Christmas gifts…

Christian crafts hold a special place in my heart. They can be so inspirational and are incredibly thoughtful gifts.

The Cross in Your Pocket is one of my favorite Christian crafts. It is incredibly easy to make. Using plastic canvas, you just cut out a cross, then cut out a front and back piece to make the pocket. The front piece will be about half the height of the back piece so when they are stitched together the cross will fit in the pocket and can be seen.

These Christian crafts are nice just as they are, but they are even more special gifts if they are accompanied by a Bible verse, a poem or a prayer. There are many different versions used. Here is the Cross in Your Pocket poem written by Krafty Kris:

I give you this cross for your pocket,
In hopes it will bring joy and peace,
To serve as a little reminder,
Of a love that will never cease.

This little poem can easily be printed on a business card with a Bible verse of your choice printed on the backside. The card can be attached to the pocket of the Christian crafts with a ribbon or, if the pocket is large enough, it can be placed in the pocket behind the cross.

Did you know? There are different translations of the Bible. The King James Version is somewhat poetic while the New International Version uses more modern language.

One of my favorite Bible verses for Christian crafts is Galatians 5:22. In the New International Version of the Bible it reads: “…the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.”

Christian crafts make wonderful gifts any time of the year.
