Krafty Kris’s floral angel ornament…
This angel ornament can sit on the boughs of a Christmas tree or it can stand alone. You can put a hook in the top if you choose to hang the angel ornament on the Christmas tree.
Angel ornaments also make wonderful package toppers for Christmas gifts and they can really dress up a Christmas gift basket.
The angel ornament pictured is made using one large and one small silk flower. You can use just about any type of silk flower that has lots of large petals to make the body, dress and wings of the angel. Outline the petals using gold or silver glitter and once it is dry you can work with the petals to arrange them.

If you have trouble getting the petals to stay where you want them to make the angel ornament, you can secure them into place using floral wire. Once you have the dress and wings just right, glue a smaller petal in the center where the head will be. Use a large bead or a fabric covered Styrofoam ball for the head.
The halo of the angel ornament can be made using tinsel, pipe cleaners, or a small strand of flowers. Ribbons, ribbon flowers, bells and such can also be added to finish off the angel ornament and give it character.
