Easy Christmas crafts can be lots of fun to make and they are excellent for inexpensive, yet exquisite gift giving.

The candy dish in the photo is one of many easy Christmas crafts that you can make using broken egg shells.

For these easy Christmas crafts, you can really use any kind of glass container to make vases, piggy banks, candy dishes, or whatever tickles your fancy.

Most of the easy Christmas crafts I have made using broken egg shells, I have made in black in white, but really, you can use any color of paint.

To make these easy Christmas crafts get a glass jar, bottle, box, etc. When you cook breakfast or bake a cake, save your egg shells for your easy Christmas crafts. Be sure to wash the shells well so there is no egg left in them.

Coat the surface of your glass with glue and crush the egg shells right into the glue. Let the glue dry well. Once it is dry you can paint it with spray paint. While the paint is still wet, wipe over the surface of the eggs with a cloth to remove the majority of the paint. Let the easy Christmas crafts dry and they are ready for gift giving.
