Make a Sparkly Heart-Shaped Wreath!

This easy Christmas craft is so simple, even the youngest children will be able to complete it with a bit of assistance! You can embellish these wreaths as much as you like, transforming an easy Christmas craft into a stunning decoration – or a great gift for Grandma! The options are wide open. But whatever you decide, you and the kids will have a blast with this easy Christmas craft.

Materials

You'll need:

Pieces of red fun foam
Ribbon
Glitter glue in red and green (or whatever you like)
Fun foam pieces of other items for decorating (optional)
Cardboard (for making tracers – optional)

Making the Wreath

This one gets messy, so spread some newspaper (or better yet, a cheap plastic tablecloth) over the table. If you want to make more than one easy Christmas craft, draw a wide heart on a piece of cardboard and cut it out for a tracer: that way, your wreaths will all be the same shape. If you're only making one, you can draw a heart right onto the foam. Draw it wide: it should take up the whole rectangle.

Cut the heart out. Then comes the best part of any easy Christmas craft: glitter glue! Use a paintbrush to spread glitter glue over the entire heart. While the glue is still wet, add any extra shapes or decorations. The glue isn't just pretty, it actually sticks things together! Use as much or as little decoration as you like. This easy Christmas craft looks great all by itself or plastered in the fruits of a child's imagination.

Once the glue dries, punch a hole through the top of the heart and use ribbon or brightly colored yarn to make a hanger. And it's that simple! Stick them up all over the house and enjoy your child's glittering imagination.

Another Idea

If you don't want huge fun foam wreaths all over your house, another easy Christmas craft is heart-shaped tree ornaments. Make them exactly the same as you make the wreath, but make the hearts smaller. There you have it: one easy Christmas craft becomes two!
