Wrapped pillar candles
The beauty of these candles is that you can make Christmas crafts from your everyday decor, and remove the wraps after the holidays. These easy-to-make Christmas crafts are great for people of all ages, and can be repeated or re-done each year to keep up with your changing tastes.

Gather your supplies:
-- Pillar candles of holiday color (red, green, white, cream, purple, blue)
-- Scrapbook paper
-- Ribbon
-- Straight pins with pearl heads
-- Glue stick
-- Scissors
Paper wrapped candles:
1. Cut strips of the scrapbook paper long enough to wrap around the candles. Make the width of your paper varied to your liking. If the paper is plain or patterned, cut as little or as much of the design as you like. If the paper displays a holiday scene, be sure to include it to give your candle a very festive scene.
2. Wrap your paper strip around the base or center of your candle.
3. Glue one end of the strip tightly to the other end, leaving a smooth seam.
Ribbon Wrapped Candles:
1. Measure your ribbon. While the ribbon is on the spool, pull enough of the ribbon loose to wrap around your candle the desired number of times. Overestimate this length before cutting the ribbon. Cut the ribbon.
2. Begin by finding the center point of your ribbon's length. Place this point at the base of the candle, pulling an end of the ribbon to each side of the candle. Bring the two ends over each other to form an "X" and fasten with a straight pin. Continue doing so, being sure to line up the center point of each "X" as you go.
3. You will have straight pins on both sides of the candle, at each intersection of ribbon. Cut the excess at your last intersection and pin the ends together.
Once you have completed all the candles you desire to complete, arrange your holiday candles on a platter surrounded with jingle bells, small ornaments, or shredded gift paper.
