Snow globe
I found many Creatology Christmas craft projects for kids at my local craft store. Being that I'm no longer 6 years old, I borrowed someone who is in order to get a "professional opinion." My 6 year old shopping buddy guaranteed a hit among kids her age in the Creatology snow globe. She liked the idea of building something that she admired, but had no clue how to make.
I liked the simplicity of the craft project for kids. There were over 100 small, foam pieces to this project. Sounds intimidating, right? Not at all. Each piece is pre-cut and pre-stuck so that all your kids have to do is remove the backing and arrange the pieces to create their own, personal snow globe. The only "complicated" part of this craft is the final process of putting the globe onto your finished base. There is no water in this snow globe, so that helps to simplify things.

I mentioned before that there were many Christmas crafts projects by Creatology. When my 6 year old friend and I picked up our Christmas projects, we decided to stock up on items to craft Christmas projects over the next few weeks. One of those were the pre-cut Christmas trees.
Christmas trees
Use these foam, pre-cut trees as ornaments, wreath embellishments, gift tags, or festive door hangers. My Creatology Christmas trees came in a package of 12 trees in 4 different color greens. I layered my trees vertically, to create a long strand of colorful trees. I then glued small bells, ribbons, and beads on each tree. Finally, I punched a hole in the top of the uppermost tree and strung a ribbon through it. It is now ready to hang from my interior door handle.
If you visit your craft store with an open mind, you will find many great ideas for Christmas projects.
