Krafty Kris’s super preschool crafts…
1. Preprinted wooden ornaments
Preprinted wooden ornaments like the Santa Bear portrayed are a favorite preschool craft. Such ornaments can be purchased from just about any craft store and they are very inexpensive. Using markers (or paint if you are brave) the kiddos can color the ornaments.

2. Macaroni strings
Macaroni strings (yes, macaroni on a string) are fun preschool crafts that can be used to decorate Christmas trees or to make necklaces and bracelets. Various types of uncooked macaroni can be used and stringing the macaroni is an activity that helps to build fine motor skills.
3. Handprints
Preschool crafts using finger paint to make handprints on a piece of construction paper are fun for the kids and they make great keepsakes as well. Once the preschool crafts are completed and the paint is dry, you can laminate the papers to preserve them.
4. Christmas tambourines
Christmas tambourines are fun preschool crafts that can be used as an art project and for music appreciation. Let each child decorate two paper plates using paint or markers, glue, glitter, sequins and such. Place a few dried beans on the surface of one plate then staple the plates together and the joyful noise maker will be ready for Christmas caroling.
5. Coloring pages
Coloring pages are always great preschool crafts. Because preschoolers are just becoming coordinated enough to use crayons and such they love to practice the art. Of course they may not be able to color within the lines but they will enjoy scribbling on the pages adorned with outlines of Santa, Christmas trees, reindeer and such.
