Kids love to make snowflake ornaments out of paper. Their creativity is pretty unlimited when you give them paper and scissors to make snowflake ornaments. They can be decorated using glue and glitter or sequins if you wish, but they are truly cute even if they aren’t decorated.

Snowflake ornaments can be made in many different ways and they are probably one of the least expensive Christmas crafts to make.
You know Krafty Kris. I shop at clearance tables, dollar stores and yard sales to get great deals on craft supplies. From time to time, interesting craft projects emerge from a closet full of supplies that previously had no purpose other than filling the supply closet because they were great deals!
The pillow snowflake ornament displayed can be used as a pillow decoration, or you can sew a ribbon onto it to use it as snowflake ornament. It was made from scraps of unbleached muslin material, stuffed with pillow stuffing. The two squares of material were stitched together and stuffed.
For a rustic, country look the sewn piece wasn’t turned inside out to hide the seams. Rather, the seams were left exposed with the edges trimmed using pinking shears.
A pre-made crocheted doily (a 2 for $1 special from a dollar store) was tacked onto the front of the pillow using thread and a needle to create incredibly unique snowflake ornaments.
One of the most fun and least expensive of all Christmas craft projects is making snowflake ornaments.
